Farming: Practicing organic. The vineyards have no irrigation, and spraying is done only with sulfites and copper, if needed.
Vinification: All grapes are hand-picked and direct pressed into stainless steel vats, from vineyards 15-50 years old. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and spends 6 months on the fine less in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes: Zlatarica as our indigenous variety has always been a part of our family and this grape has always been known as a locals favorite, and lesser-known by the tourists. We wanted to show a fresh and easy expression of our Dalmatian whites and to show the world, what zlatarica can be.
Wine made this wine for us to drink, enjoy and savor. Made by family, for family. As simple as that.

Vukušić
Vukušić (pronounced: Voo-koo-shitsch) is a small family winery that has been producing wine for generations in Pojezerje (poe-yeh-zher-yeh) region. The location is a stunning valley inland in Dalmatia, where farming started in the family nearly 5 generations ago, when the Jezero (lake) was historically spilled for fields to be created.
