Tasting Notes: Jezero (yeh-zair-oh) - literally translated to lake - is named after that the dramatic growing region in the mountain valley that was historically created by spilling the lake to make for a rich and fertile growing region.
Jezero is a "village" blend consisting of all the indigenous red varieties grown in the vineyards, with each varietal complementing each other harmoniously and making for a deep and rustic, but also extremely drinkable blend, perfect for wild game or rich red meat dishes, red sauce pastas, or for cool weather sipping.
For the family, when the weather changes this deep yet drinkable red blend powers them through the winter. To have something authentic, rich, yet unburdening and highly drinkable, the family came up with the Jezero blend.
